We recently ran into an issue where a customer had a brand new RAP3 that they were trying to provision on their Aruba controller.  The RAP3 was in Instant mode (default) and we successfully walked the customer through the process of converting from an Instant to a Remote Access Point.

We just got new laptops preloaded with Windows 8.1 Pro.  One of the things we noticed was that there was no way through the GUI to remove wireless network profiles like you could do in Windows 7.

After some hunting around we found that the only way to remove them was through the command line.  If you're looking to remove your old unused wireless profiles, here is how you can do it:

Open a CMD prompt and type:  netsh wlan show profiles

You’re out deploying a Campus AP to your network, and it doesn’t seem to come up -- doesn’t broadcast, repeatedly rebootstraps, never lights up with all green LEDs.  It’s getting power.  Existing APs are working fine. What gives?

 Here’s a list of common causes...

 * The AP does not have a valid IP configuration.  It requests via DHCP by default.  Is DHCP available?  Reachable from that endpoint?  OR, if IP config is statically defined, double check settings.  (see TESTING, below)
